Season's greetings!Season's greetings! The conference call for paper and website were launched about a month ago and we have quite a few keen and enthusiastic responses. There are also several updates and we have the pleasure of enclosing these news here on our monthly conference update leading to the big day on 7 September 2015.
While we reflect on the ups and downs of the last 12 months, let us also look into the future with great anticipation. Certainly, the ICE2015 conference will be one of the major highlights of the year! On behalf of the scientific and organising committees, and everyone here in IFT, we wish you a fabulous Christmas and a fruitful new year! Kindest regards, Ubaldino Couto & Julie Whitfield Co-chairs of Making Waves in Macao |
The eventful city of MacaoOrganised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Macao Government, the "Parade through Macau, Latin City" in celebration of the 15th Anniversary of Macao's Handover to China, took place on 14 December. The event gathered some of the best local and international performers, and had a viewership of over 80,000 through live broadcast. The show was a culmination of a carnivalistic-style parade through the city streets, performances, and a live show as the grande finale to the celebration of 'peace, love and cultural integration. This is certainly one hallmark event in making. More information available here and great photos from Antonius Photoscript here.
